H3O In a Classe of its Own

What a surprise to find that H3O had an amazing two-page writeup in the Salon Premiere Classe C+ Accessoires magazine in Paris! It wasn't til we were walking down the aisles at the trade show that we realised! Nice to know we have supporters on the other side of the globe!

Bilson Busts Out

In case you missed the latest stellar AW10 collection from Preen, here's Rachel Bilson to show how to really wear it on the red carpet. This season, Preen collaborated with Saville Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes, providing a collection that was both menswear-inspired, yet also ultra feminine. Taking the minimal trend and giving it a new take, modern bustier dresses offered a peek-a-boo under the bra, in porcelain pink, black or beige or in mixed up antique florals. Alongside Preen's signature draping and "power" silhouettes, this bustier look epitomises the season: minimal, feminine, and strong.

How to covet Coven

Let's talk about Coven – the high fashion Brazilian knitwear brand that Hiro and Jason discovered in Rio de Janeiro last year. The boys were struck by the brand's clever catwalk show, and its ability to transform into stylish, easy-to-wear pieces for the everyday recessionista. It wasn't until earlier this year, however, on a trip to Sao Paolo, that their love of Coven was cemented and they just had to bring it back to Japan. This season's serious remake of military style, with lurex bandage dresses, reworked camouflage and slick "bullet" embroidery, craftily mixed with Victorian and circus imagery, made it an instant hit with Japanese retailers.

Coven（コーベン）についてお話します。昨年、ひろとジェイソ ンはブラジルはリオデジャネイロに行き、ブラジルのハイファッションニットウェアブランドであるCovenを見つけました。ランウェイショーも素晴らし く、スタイリッシュでありながら日常生活でも簡単に着る事の出来るデザインに２人もすぐ気に入り、今回H3Oのラインナップに加わる事となりました。今 シーズンのデザインはエレガントなミリタリースタイルと、バンデージドレス、そしてカモフラージュ柄や銃弾のような刺繍が見られ、戦いとサーカスをテーマ に日本のマーケットに登場します。

In the Valley of the Dez

H3O's latest project, the Dubai retailer Valleydez, is finally open – and what an amazing result! The interior, based on a surreal theatrical experience, with oversized chairs, curtains on the wall and a large custom-made dinner party table centrepiece was designed by Japanese/British interior designer Eiko Fujita-Summers, and is like no other store in the world. Indeed, Valleydez has a personality all its own, with a selection of fashion brands exclusive to Dubai, as well as hand-picked accessories from Paris, London and Tokyo. Recently Jason and Fumiko were in Dubai to complete the buying as well as all of the visual merchandising for the store, and we think it looks fabulous!

H3O の海外プロジェクトの一貫として携わっていた、ドバイのセレクトショップ Valleydez（バリーデス）がついにオープンしました。インテリアのコンセプトは、劇場でのパーティ。様々なサイズの椅子がオブジェとして飾られ、 壁にはドレープのシアターカーテンが覆われ、ディナーパーティのテーブルを中央に据えたデザインは、日英国籍の著名デザイナー、エイコ フジタ サマーズによるものです。ショップの概念を覆す、オリジナリティに溢れた内装に加えて、ドバイ新規投入の新しいブランドや、東京、パリ、ロンドンなどから 選りすぐられたアクセサリーのラインナップも、ショップの個性を反映しています。先日、H3Oのジェイソンと五嶋によって、マーチャンダイジングも完成さ れたショップは、ドバイのきらめきに負けず劣らずファビュラス！

Richard Nicoll covers i-D

We at H3O love a bit of i-D action, especially when one of our favourite designers Richard Nicoll gets the cover all to himself. Here, and throughout the pages inside, his collaboration with famed British contemporary artist Linder Sterling is shown to great effect, shot by Tim walker. With a feeling of 1950s Stepford Wife in lingerie mixed with a modern sensibility and clever print work, this 10 page story plus cover is dedicated solely to Nicoll and his ability to walk the tightrope between fine art and fashion. Incidentally, if you haven't heard, Nicoll has now been named the creative director of womenswear at Cerruti – definitely one to watch.


Richard Nicoll（リチャード・ニコル）が i-Dマガジンの表紙を飾りました。ごちらに載せた画像は、Tim Walker（ティム・ウォーカー）によって撮影されたページで、イギリスの有名なコンテンポラリーアーティスト、Linder Sterling（リンダー・スターリング）とリチャード・ニコルの素晴らしいコラボレーションを効果的に表現しています。都会的な繊細さと、絶妙なプリントで作り上げられた、ランジェリーを身に付けた５０’sのステップフォードワイフの雰囲気の、カバーと１０ページにも渡るストーリーは、そんなリチャード・ニコルと彼のファインアートとファッションを繋ぐ才能を讃えています。そんなニコールはCerrutiのクリエイティブディレクターとして新たに就任しました。これもまた見逃せません！

NOM*d's Movie Magic

Now we are not trying to confuse you, but we just got back from New Zealand where we were able to witness NOM*d's new cinematic triumph for the AW10 season and it was nothing short of spectacular. Directed by one of New Zealand's foremost movie directors Kirsty Cameron, it is poetic, dreamy and perfectly embodies the NOM*d aesthetic, so we thought we would share it with you here. And while AW10 might be some time away, we are sure you will remember this for years to come.

Styled by Shun Watanabe, this new take on Araki's famous erotic photographs, has Gaga in bondage, wrapped up in Phi's glazed leather 3 buckle cinched belt. And the shoes? Phi's leather high heel creepers.
